We promote the ideal learning environment with small class sizes, keeping your training to a minimum time commitment but yet optimal results are achieved. Our focus is on the success of our students ensuring we meet and exceed the expectations of our graduates. We endeavour to constantly develop our training and teaching skills to ensure the most modern techniques are delivered to our students. We seek to expand our curriculum of available courses on an annual basis to meet the needs of the Beauty and Sports Industries. We have now introduced a commercial salon onsite to give our students the best practical experience and ensure they acquire the skills required to make our graduates some of the most sought after in the country..
The Kilkenny College of Beauty and Sports Therapy first opened its doors in 1986 and is the longest established Beauty Therapy school in the South-East of Ireland. From the beginning our students have achieved high rates of success in examinations – 100% pass rates are not unusual with a high proportion of students each year achieving top grades.
Hundreds of our Graduates have gone on to start thriving businesses or forge successful careers, both in Ireland and abroad.
Many of our graduates now own their own salons, manage spas, work as sales reps, work on cruise ships or teach in the public and private sector. We are regularly contacted by employers keen to employ our latest graduates.
We are situated in the heart of the beautiful and historic city of Kilkenny in South East Ireland. Kilkenny has good road and rail links to all parts of Ireland and the college is within walking distance of every part of the City.
